1. Reporting to VP, Strategy and Business Planning, assists the VP in the development and management of community benefit and community health initiatives. Develops and utilizes skills in data analysis, process and outcome evaluation, team facilitation, project management, independent research and community health improvement to provide assistance and consultation to a variety of projects. Assists VP and the Senior Community Benefits Administrator with various projects that may encompass the following:
Community/public health improvement planning
Community coalition building and facilitation
Market and best practice research
Presentation and website development
2. Shadows the VP, Strategy and Business Planning at meetings to learn about the position and hospital administration in general, and actively participates in meetings and projects as appropriate.
3. Works independently in the community with hospital partners on community initiatives, under the guidance of the VP.
4. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree required. Actively pursuing Master's degree in Health Care Management or related field.
Experience in a hospital, integrated delivery system or community provider settings preferred, but not required.
