The Learning Management (LMS) Administrator is responsible for Enterprise administration of the online learning platform for Yale New Haven Health. The LMS Administrator performs project management activities as well as analysis, design, implementation, education and end-user support of the LMS application. The LMS Administrator consults and communicates extensively with department leadership, educators and administrators. The LMS Administrator serves in a consultative role with Yale New Haven Health stakeholders to ensure online learning activities related to accreditation, licensure, program certification, regulatory, and YNHHS organizational initiatives are satisfied. The LMS Administrator has a thorough understanding of course build, assignments, report generation, application administration, administrator training, and end user support.
Bachelor of Science in educational technology, human resources, business administration, information technology or healthcare related field. Advanced classes in adult education, instructional design or graphic design beneficial.
Three to five years recent experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Previous adult education or staff development experience, learning management system administration, or similar system experience desired. Proficiency in MS Office applications, eLearning development tools/authoring software, in-person and virtual classroom management applications. Basic HTML coding skills preferred.
